Hannah is back to her healthy self, finally... it seems like her colds linger on and on. So we've been enjoying some new adventures outside to the neighborhood playground. She obeys really well, for the most part,
inside our house and when we run errands, but since she's started to walk, going outside is a whole new world for her and she does not like boundaries. She toddles straight for the street. Luckily we live in cul-de-sac and don't have much traffic to worry about, but we still don't want her going in the street without holding our hand. So we're working on setting new boundaries outside like we did inside and having her obey. Which is a lot harder now with her new independence (walking). Same for the playground...she does not listen to me like she does in our house so I may have given her too much freedom at once. It's a work in progress and as you can see in one of the pictures, she sat down in the one and only tiny puddle in the corner of the playground before I could grab her. She didn't seem to mind...

We've been trying to enjoy the weather as much as possible! We took Hannah outside while Matt and I threw some football (which I'm surprisingly good at) and we thought Hannah would run around the yard and we would run around with her, but instead she sat on her little blanket and would watch us and read her books we brought outside. It was so cute. When I went to pick her up from childcare at the gym yesterday, she was hanging out by the new bookshelf they had and was flipping through the books like a little book worm. She does seem to do her own thing when around other big kids, but we had Ella over for a few minutes yesterday, she's 1, and Hannah started yelling "beby beby" and giggling when she saw her from the window. She immediately went to pick up Pooh Bear and gave it to Ella and then starting grabbing other book and toys to share, and then told her a few random things that we couldn't quite understand (at least she's trying to make sentences). Matt and I got tickled just seeing how social she was all of a sudden with another person closer to her age.
