Matt's List
3 Things Matt loves about me being pregnant:
1. Eating ice cream with me almost everyday, especially Chick-fil-A ice cream on the weekends.
2. Finding miscellaneous droppings on my belly.
3. The excitement of having a mini Lindsay on the way...Hannah's going to love her Daddy :)
3 Things Matt doesn't love so much about me being pregnant:
1. Mood swings....enough said (sorry Honey, it's the hormones)
2. Trying to have a conversation or enjoy time with someone who is half asleep after 8pm. I can make it until 10 on the weekends...
3. Those burps and other noises that "slip out" more frequently. Luckily they don't smell, it's amazing!
I think Matt will agree with most of what I said.
I know these past eight months have been challenging for him too, but he's been a steady support for me despite my not so sweet moments. I'm very blessed to have him as a partner with me during this time of excitement and anticipation. I love you!!
Things I love about being pregnant and things I don't love so much...
5 Things I love:
1. The excitement of being a new mommy.
2. Having a "reason" to eat ice cream almost everyday :)
3. Having softer skin, thicker hair, and fast growing nails.
4. The help you are offered at the grocery store and the grace you are given by store clerks when you knock off 3 bottles, 2 baby shampoos, and 3 boxes of infant tylenol onto the floor while trying to reach the diapers. OOPS!
5. The sweet stories and helpful tips that strangers offer on a daily basis.
5 Things I don't love so much:
1. My baby belly hitting the counter while cooking and brushing teeth. Luckily no hazzardous kitchen accidents yet, but I have frequent toothpaste droppings and crumbs on my shirt where my belly catches any messes (Matt thinks this it's hillarious when he finds them before I do...I'm glad I can make you laugh Honey).
2. Unwelcome horror stories of pregnancy and childbirth from strangers in line at the store. (but they always wish me luck afterwards....Thanks??)
3. Sweaty feet (yes, unfortunately this has become an issue for me)
4. Falling over like a bug when you bend over to pick up anything (this is a new development, only one instance so far). It's hard to get back up...
5. Bladder control/going to pee at least twice a night. It's not easy to even get out of bed these days, let alone when you're half a sleep and about to pee on yourself. (mom says this is God's way of preparing me to wake up at night with the baby, she's probably right)
But seriously, despite any unpleasant changes that come with pregnancy, it is amazing to know that a sweet little baby is being formed inside me. It's definately worth the work and the wait....not much longer :)

Productive Weekend
Dad and Matt installed ceiling fans and shelves in the garage
Washed 4 (or 5, I lost count) loads of baby clothes and blankets etc... (I love the smell of Dreft detergent)
Do you think Hannah has enough clothes?!
Mom made a curtain for the window and painted the shelf we found at a garage sale Saturday morning for $2.00!
Good job Mom!
Happy Mother's Day!!
Mom and I went to get pedicures for Mother's day. We have matching toes. :)
5 Weeks to go!
I went to the doctor today and Hannah's head is still down and in position to be delivered! The Midwife said if I go into labor at this point they will not try to stop it. Hannah's lungs are fully enough developed to be delivered. My iron was low, which explains my tiredness lately, but she prescribed me iron tablets to make me feel better. Everything else looks great!! I start going every week now for check-ups!
One more thing:
Wally got a hair cut!
Wally before (sleepy face)
Wally after, no more fluff!
Mike must be a little jealous, he has been pickin' on poor Wally since he came back from the groomer.
