Third and final batch of Christmas pictures

Here is the last batch of pictures. You may notice a difference in the quality of these pictures because my sweet Matt surprised me with this new camera for Christmas! I/We still have A lot of learning to do. I have some really fun videos I will try to get on here later this week.

I also realized that I did not get pictures with Everyone that we spent time with. I wish I had pictures of everyone! We loved seeing all of you!

2nd batch of Christmas Pictures

We've been busy getting settled back in, so I'm just now getting around to posting more Christmas pictures. We had soooo much fun last week and wish we could see everyone more often, but it makes us appreciate our time in TN even more. Thanks to our families for all the delicious food, warm beds, fun times, and abundance of gifts!!! Enjoy some of the highlights of Hannah's first Christmas.

Waiting on Coffee...

Eating dinner with Moppy

We made it to TN, at 7am Friday morning. We didn't plan on driving in until Friday morning but with the winter storm coming through Asheville we decided to get to TN as soon as possible. So we left at 1:30 Friday morning and arrived in Maryville at 7am, just in time for Hannah to wake up. Fortunately we had some babysitters waiting to take care of her while Matt and I slept for a while :) We just hope we can get back home at the end of the week.

Need hair advice

After looking at this picture yesterday, it looks like Hannah's hair is turning into the "conan hair-do"

What do you think?

Frugal and Fun Christmas Wrapping

This year I thought I would have fun with wrapping and use some of the comic papers from our Sunday paper to wrap presents. Unfortunately, I didn't start collecting the comics early enough to have enough papers to wrap all the gifts this way, but some of you may be getting a "funny" gift....ha ;)

It also helps to have a little wrapping elf around....

"What did I just do?!"

By the way, this little elf slept 10 hours last night!!! YAY

2 things...

1. It was 70 degrees yesterday afternoon....now it's in the 50's.

2. Sweet baby Hannah slept 9 hours without a peep last night. From 10 until 7am, when she woke up cooing. 9 HOURS!!! I woke up before she did to check on her and she was sleeping peacefully. 9 HOURS!!! I almost cried. I am praying this will continue.

We're out and about being little elves today :)

Happy girl

5 month update....2 weeks late

Trying to get a cute picture in her new Christmas outfit from Moppie...we'll continue to try

Well I'm a little behind on this update. This may be a little boring for some, but this is my digital scrapbook of sorts for Hannah since I don't have the desire or time to do a real scrapbook. I do take time to do a baby journal and photo albums but scrap booking is too tedious right now. This will be helpful to look back and compare for the next baby.....but not now :)

Here we go:
5 Months Old

New things:
Sitting up assisted
Eating cereal once or twice a day
Putting syllables together ahgoo mooomoo (on rare occasion)
Squeals ALOT
Laughing more and more. We even found a ticklish spot ;)
Reaches for everything
Fascinated with her toes. She just started putting them in her mouth out of the blue. We're going to start doing yoga together!

Started yesterday with a cup....just for fun and practice. She can't tilt it but she can hold it to her mouth.

Loves for you to blow on her fingers and toes

Playing games to get our attention. She will throw down or drop a toy and I'll say UH OH! She gets a huge smile and then we do it again...and again...and again...

Won't stay on her stomach to play, she automatically rolls over so we're working on this.

Slightly teething....likes to gnaw on things.

Still takes 3 naps a day, mostly two short and one long.

Sleeping better but not great....on average sleeps from 10-4 without eating

Goes to bed around 6 and wakes up full of energy between 6:30 and 7:15. We are trying to have a later bedtime.

Growing up a little more every day....

Sorry English teacher, Aunt Leslie for all the grammatical mistakes, fragment sentences, and run-on sentences. I was doing this quickly...she's waking up! Bye for now

Thanksgiving weekend...a little late.

Here are the few pics that I took during Thanksgiving, it seems like everyone else is taking pictures so I forget to.

who knew a tupperware lid would be so fun? Thanks Mamaw Lizzy!

Enjoying a pretty day on the farm

Uncle stef keeping Hannah warm

First ride on a 4 wheeler....now daddy wants one too!

Love that smirk she has goin' on.

We had a great time but it flew by too fast!! We stayed with Matt's Mamaw Lizzy and she really enjoyed spending time with Hannah. We ate so much good food and had family pictures taken with all of Matt's family. I was a little nervous about how Hannah would do but she did great!! They kept her attention and we had fun with all the different poses. On Sat. we went to my mamaw's house for Thanksgiving and had a little adventure. As you can see Hannah went on the 4 wheeler...well not really. Stefan made me drive the go cart (Karen has the pictures for that) he didn't tell me the brakes didn't work well until after we started...so I almost ran into a ditch but we made it okay.

I love life on the farm...maybe we'll have a place like that one day. I have a dream of having a cow and chickens....we can't have those kind of things in our neighborhood, homeowner's association won't allow it....wonder why? Okay now I'm getting silly but seriously I do love farm life or just the idea of it.

Can't wait to see everyone again at Christmas!!
