We've been trying to enjoy the weather as much as possible! We took Hannah outside while Matt and I threw some football (which I'm surprisingly good at) and we thought Hannah would run around the yard and we would run around with her, but instead she sat on her little blanket and would watch us and read her books we brought outside. It was so cute. When I went to pick her up from childcare at the gym yesterday, she was hanging out by the new bookshelf they had and was flipping through the books like a little book worm. She does seem to do her own thing when around other big kids, but we had Ella over for a few minutes yesterday, she's 1, and Hannah started yelling "beby beby" and giggling when she saw her from the window. She immediately went to pick up Pooh Bear and gave it to Ella and then starting grabbing other book and toys to share, and then told her a few random things that we couldn't quite understand (at least she's trying to make sentences). Matt and I got tickled just seeing how social she was all of a sudden with another person closer to her age.

I'm glad she's finally feeling better and that as a family you guys have been able to enjoy the pretty weather! Those pictures look so sweet and serene :)
As to the obedience thing, I (mildly) understand, just from having Ben. I've had to really work on consistent discipline with him so that there is consistent discipline. Adrian and I have talked about how important it will be, too, for first-time obedience with our kids, both for their safety and so they recognize obeying us=obeying the Lord. Hope you get some of those issues straightened out early!
I'm sad we didn't get the chance to see each other this weekend, but I've been thinking Charlotte/IKEA sounds like a grand idea!! ;)
These are precious shots.....she is growing up so fast. I see a little book worm.....you loooooved books too..... all snuggled under my armpit or on my lap and hearing the story for the 100th time but acting like it was the first. Cherish those days....it can be tiring....but sooooo good for bonding and learning.
You and Matt are doing a great job. I am sooo proud of both of you. Hannah is one lucky little girl.
Can't wait to see you all....
love,
mom
